Ageing Oven, EB 10
for ageing of rubber and plastic materials

Ageing oven for precision ageing of rubbers and plastics under controlled conditions. EB 10 is a
cabinet oven designed to give very low temperature variations in time and space, a low air speed
together with a controlled air exchange rate. This is achieved by using an inner chamber with a
controlled air flow. The air exchange rate is set by a throttle and is set for 7 or 12 changes per
hour before delivery. The oven has separate systems for temperature control and indication with
alarm.

EB 10 conforms to ISO 188, ISO 3383, IEC 811 and technical equivalent standards.

EB 10 can also be supplied with a 3 glass window and illumination of the inner chamber.

The oven is supplied in two sizes, with 60 and 120 l useful volume.

EB 10 is ideal for ageing finished products and large test pieces which are unsuitable for cell
ovens. Both shelves and rods are supplied with the oven for accommodating most types of
samples.

- The oven meets with good margin, the requirements in ISO 188,
ISO 3383, IEC 811 and other equivalent standards.

- Special design with an inner chamber with controlled air
exchange rate and low air speed.

- The casing consists of steel, painted with epoxy powder paint in
bluegreen colour.

- The inner chamber is made of stainless steel.

- Temperature controller with 0,1 °C setpoint.

- A new version of the EB10 with high air speed (1m/sec) and controlled air-exchange rates (7 or
14 changes/hour) .Conforms to method B of ISO 188 (1999).
Useful sample area is only 50 litres.
